I used to feel like a weakling because I don’t have the physical stamina other people have.
I require a LOT of sleep.
Once, I told my doctor about how I often feel exhausted in the afternoon.
She turned to me and said, “You know, if you are tired in the afternoon – you should take a nap.”
It was a ridiculously easy solution.
But not the one I wanted.
I wanted her to make me into someone who didn’t require a lot of sleep.
There is freedom in accepting how I am wired.
